Dear QOMSBOC Attendees,

  

The 2021 Virtual QOMSBOC will be held on the platform “MeetAnyway”. To attend, you must first register for an account here: https://meetanyway.com/.  We encourage you to outfit your profile with a title (examples: Graduate Student at UOttawa, Professor at McGill University, etc.), a photo, and any social media links you would like (examples: LinkedIn profiles, research group websites).  Your profile photo will be your avatar for the conference.  Your profile information will be available for other attendees to view during the event.

 

Once you have created your profile you will be able to register for and access the event at this web link: https://meetanyway.com/events/qomsboc-2021. The online event will open at 10:00 am EST on Friday December 3rd for early poster viewing and access to our social rooms.  The conference will formally begin with the first presentation session at 1:00 pm EST in the ‘Lecture Hall’ video room (see the green circles in the image below).  Technical assistance with the online platform is also provided by the MeetAnyway team (red circle in image) to help attendees during the event. I will be available to answer questions in the ‘Help Desk’ video room on the ‘Lobby’ page between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm EST, on December 3rd.   Also, the search function (blue circle in image) allows you to find any conference attendee (including me, Meghan Fragis) and send a direct message at any time during the event.

 

The program for oral presentation sessions has now been made available online at here. The full poster schedule will be posted once all abstracts have been submitted on Wednesday December 1st.
